About: Overview
Beginnings
'I grew up as a concert pianist, having earned several international prizes in Southeastern Europe and Italy. However, after having started middle school, I began developing a stronger attraction towards composing and song-writing alike. I still kept my classical piano instincts nonetheless and continued developing my repertoire.'
Style
David's stylistic departure point is rooted in the modernist Spectral style. His often complex affiliation between neo-tonal passages and fully atonal passages, mixed with inherent European folk elements, are emblematic features of the Spectralism current. Nonetheless, David is constantly evolving and opening up his stylistic palette to various influences, as he is always eager to develop and accustom himself with new idioms.
